Hi,
I work in an IT dept. of a big organization ( Exchange server) and we use
Outlook 2000. One of my co workers has access to my email. I have no idea how
he got that, but I saw that in his desk, but he closed it fast so I won't see
it. I never gave him permissin for it. How he did it and how can I stop the
permission ( and I don't mean by asking, I mean systematically) Please help.
Thank you. Peg

who are admins in your office? This is only permissions.... are you that
guys boss or is he your boss? You just need to find whoever can set those
permissions and set them how you want them. heck you may be able to open
his mail too. its not magic - just security.

Talk to your manager. Anyone with sufficient permissions on the server can
grant himself access to whatever he pleases. If your company policy states
that he is authorized to open mailboxes, nothing you can do about it - if he
isn't, someone needs to check the server - and I hope you have sufficient
auditing enabled to track this, in case he removes the permissions he
granted. Event logs don't lie.
