Other TV Application Software?

I cannot for the life of me get any ATI TV software installed for my
AIW 8500DV, so are there any other TV applications that will work with
this card?

IYO, maybe.

Otherwise, there's SageTV, Power Cinema, and even a plugin for WinAmp
that works for viewing moderately well.

Go to http://www.tv-cards.com/. There's a list of 3rd party apps, and
a long list of free apps. Careful, some of them are worse than ATI's
software, and many of them require hardware MPEG decoding.
