OT - Thanks!

Going through some archives on my machine today and realized just how long
I've been lurking and following this group. Yikes!

But want to say thanks to all who keep the group up, including those who
just come and go. When I started back 'ahem' when, I knew little about a PC
having come off mainframe environment with "help desk" at hand. This was one
of the first groups I loaded on my newsreader and I probably learned more
from lurking this group and following links and discussions than another
other resource online. It's the first group I load up when I start a new
machine (or lose the data on my old one!).

You've helped me find useful software ... many I didn't even KNOW I needed!
.... and utilities that I consider ageless, and at a fraction of the cost of
the bloated retail stuff out there! It's given me a basic personal working
knowledge of using this tool for what I want to do that I'd never get
anywhere else.

Just wanted to say thanks. I enjoy following the group and appreciate the
extensive efforts that go into the answers AND the questions (many of which
I'm afraid to ask myself!)
