Nokia has created and is marketing a "Spy Phone". It can be utilized as an ordinary cell phone, but when properly programmed it can be remotely activated and utilized as a listening device. The phone appears to be off to those in the room when activated remotely. Personnel should be aware of the presence of these phones and the potential dangers posed to situations such as controlled deliveries. The phone is available in multiple colors. http://www.endoacustica.com/english/spy_telephone.htm

This looks to me like some retailer's marketing hustle.
It's just a long-distance version of products that have been on the
market for quite a while. The idea is that if you've got an infant who
is sleeping and have to step out of the house for a few minutes, you can
listen in to check up on the baby -- so that you can hustle home fast if
the baby is crying.

But Helen, this has absolutely nothing to do with freeware. Why post it
here? Surely there is a more appropriate newsgroup for doing so.
Besides, it doesn't appear to me at all that Nokia created these phones
to be "spyphones", but rather they have been reprogrammed by
Endoacustica somehow to do this.
