OT: Script Error

Ron H

Hi all, I'm having a problem using Google through IE and i don't know if i
had changed a setting that is causing this. When i try to go to an address
that Google
provided me an Internet Script Error box open up and says: An error has
occured
in the script on this page and also, Do you want to continue running
scripts on
this page - Yes or No ? Clicking Yes or No does nothing . Thanks for
any help
where to look to stop this. Thanks Ron

Hi Ron,

You might try the following:

Tools||Internet Options...||Advanced||Browsing

Checkmark: Disable Script Debugging
Uncheck: Display A Notification About Every Script Error

Click "Apply"

Good luck,

Hi Donald, Thanks for the answer back but thats how my settings were.
What i
just did was reset all my internet options to default and unchecked those
boxes
and rebooted and then checked the boxes and rebooted again and still not
working. Also know when i open Google i get - Done but with errors on page.

Over the years you've helped me a few times and thank you, is there
anything else that you can think of to check? Ron

Unchecked both boxes?

"Disable Script Debugging" should be Checkmarked
"Display A Notification About Every Script Error" should be Unchecked

If that doesn't resolve the issue Ron I'm afraid I'm out of ideas, you might
post your question on the IE General Newsgroup:

Hello Ron H,

*An error has occured in the script on this page*

The error in question is a JavaScript error.

Is nothing wrong with your settings.
