status by the sheer volume of your posts in this newsgroup alone.
LOL
Your problem was most of your posts were off-topic.
This is a support
newsgroup for problems specific to the OS installed, not an advocate
newsgroup that welcomes posts consistent with your broad objection to
Microsoft's profit margin as your message content has been noted.
From my biased observation,
I seem to sense you are losing and that
is a shame, because you do have some viable arguments.
It is a shame
you are so Neanderthal in you tactics you can't see this.
kurttrail said:Of what exactly?
You know you should have been awarded MVP
Would turn it down.
Now that's funny!
Huh? How is MS's profit margin relevant to this thread?
Exactly! ROFL!
Losing what? I'm not here to win anything Mike, unlike you and the
rest of the MicroSycophants.
Ugh!
What you can't see is that I'm not competing at anything. Win, lose,
no matter! What matters is that opinions that are contrary to those
of a convicted predatory monopolist are heard, and in this group
dominated with those motivated to keep or attain MVPhood, my opinions
have been heard.
It was answered in the next sentence.Of what exactly?
Would turn it down.

Michael said:Just love how you break up posts. LOL What a talent you have to turn
any post you want around to anything other than the original intent
of the post. Examples below.
This is what I said. It was one (1) thought not 2 separate thoughts.
You are so jealous, YeeHAW! You know you should have been awarded MVP
status by the sheer volume of your posts in this newsgroup alone.
LOL
It was answered in the next sentence.
I would expect the above answer to the invitation.

Your answers
Maybe it's just my "biased opinion", but were you not trying to
manipulate what I meant to say by how you broke up the replies?
kurttrail said:Then I answered that I would turn it down, Mikey. So again I ask
jealous of what exactly?
Can't you keep track of a conversation over a couple of sentences back
and forth?
So if I would turn it down, which even you would expect, what would I
be jealous about exactly?
Is anyone else having a feeling of deja-vu? LOL!
So taking my answers totally out of the context that they were written
is the MS-MVP non-manipulating way of answering posts, Mikey? PSML!
But for what effect? Ever hear of humour, Mikey?
I left your comma in to show it was not your complete thought, and I
made a note of laughing at my play on your words. No rational person
would think it was meant to deceive, but would see it as attempt to
make fun of you going off-topic, right after telling me that it's my
posts that aren't relevant to the threads I reply to. I don't blame
you for not seeing this though, as most people are blind to their own
hypocrisy even after it is pointed out to them.
So how is this kvetch by you about how I replied to your post relevant
to where you have dragged this thread? Always about me, instead about
the content of my words. So is this the competition that your "biased
observation" seems to sense that I'm losing? Well I guess I am,
cause I actually answered your post, unlike you, just attacking my
posting style, instead of the content of my words. Yes you win,
Mikey. I'll always lose any competition that is only being played in
your twisted mind.
As bitchy as you seem, you'd think you've been the one suffering from
sciatica all week long, not me. So what's your excuse?
Michael said:How do you know I am not? Why do you think I wasn't typing this with
a big grin on my face? [I was BTW] The problem with newsgroup posts
is they are hard to convey the state of mind. I just like point out
how your posting style is meant to confuse, not clarify. LOL
Get well.

I never knew that Neanderthals were known for using deceptive tactics.
;-)
My style, or tactics, if you prefer, fits the situation, Mike. I
really can't be characterized monolithically. This is a totally
inconsequential thread, but I still had no intention of being
confusing, and I don't think the average person would have
misunderstand how I meant what I wrote.
Get well.
I finally saw a doctor yesterday. Steroids and painkillers are
helping me to feel more comfortable. Thanks for you well-wishes.
Michael said:LOL to your complete post, and I really mean LOL. You always have the
intention to confuse or blur, you never make a definitive statement,
because you don't have one.
I don't either, but I don't give people
advice that could potentially cause them some very serious legal
problems.
I give them an answer that is correct, and one they can
decide for themselves how they should proceed.
Be very careful with the steroids your doctor prescribes, they are
very liberal with their dispensing, but very shallow in explaining
the downsides.
kurttrail said:What BS! Is that definitive enough for you. Would you like me to dig
up where you complained in the past that I write my opinions as facts?
I wish you could make up your mind.
Neither do I. MS would never risk losing in court, because that would
put at risk all their EULA FUD-money.
You tell them they can't do it, while I tell them that MS says they
can't while the law says they can. And I define the words of that law
with MS's own definitions. Then I ask them that until MS gets the
balls to legally prove their FUD, who should be the judge in the
privacy of their own home. I don't think I've ever heard you once
mention anything to anyone that they have a choice.
Shrinkwrap license usage terms on private non-commercial individuals
have never been enforced by any US court ever. That's why the
software lobby tried to make shrinkwrap licenses into legally
enforceable software licenses through UCITA, which is pretty much a
dead issue at the present.
I'm taking a six day run of Prednisone to bring down the swelling of
my sciatic nerve, and this is only the 3rd time in my 40+ years that
I've taken a short run of steroids.
My father died from prescription steroids, taken to control his
asthma & emphysema, when he was 43. The steroids destroyed his heart
over the decades of daily prescribed use. I also knew about steroids
rage as a child, before most of the medical community, so I don't
trust any doctor to explain anything to me.
But that's just the way I am, a natural-born cynic. I believe in
trying to be an educated consumer, whether it's the medical business,
the software business, or any business that I buy a product or a
service from. I find things out for myself, and don't just rely on
what I'm told by any self-interested merchant.
Michael said:Glad to see you are hip to the steroid abuse, self administrated and
physician ignorance prescribed.
My mother has a very rare lung disease that was initially treated with
steroids and then determined the steroids were probably the worst
treatment they could have prescribed. The problem with steroids is
stopping the use of them. It is very hard to stop using steroids,
once you have started.
As far as your continued abuse of posting, usually a paragraph is a
single thought.
Love the way you broke up the paragraph. LOL
