OT: NewEgg Support - Voice Menu System Gone Downhill?

It's been awhile since I bought anything online from NewEgg.

When I did buy, they have always been my preferred supplier.
No particular reason except prices within the ballpark of what
most charge, inventory comprehensive enough for me,
easy-to-navigate web site, and reasonable service.

I've even called for support a few times - including this time.

But this time, maybe I'm just a crabby old man, but I thought
their voice menus had become especially heinous. Granted they
don't really want to talk to anybody for cost reasons... but this
was over the top. The guy talks way, wayyyyy slow, the choices
were too numerous, the hierarchy was too deep, and comments were
repeated.

I took their survey afterwards and it was even worse - inane,
even. "Was the person smiling....?".... Christ on a crutch
man... this was a *telephone* call....

Anybody sympathetic with this little rant?

Suppliers with reasonable prices where somebody actually answers
the phone?

Standard procedure nowadays. I hate it too and it ain't just New Egg.
