[OT] MS's AV

I thought there had already been anti-trust talk against MS including an
anti-virus package in Windows... am I making that up?

The acquisition today was a company that specializes in Email
Antivirus protection for Exchange Server and the like. This type
of software isn't intended for End Users. That's why the Justice
department will probably give them a pass this time around. But,
Symantec and McAfee are both going to eventually lose with
Microsoft dealing themselves in.

given the security issues with the base code of the OS, would you trust MS
to protect you against Viruses? Think about it....

It all depends. Hopefully, Microsoft will not gunk up your registry as bad
as Norton (Symantec) products do.
