OT Internet discussion is dying?

I suppose most regulars can see that UseNet traffic has decreased
over the years. But have you noticed that World Wide Web forum
traffic has been decreasing too? That might not apply to all
subjects (like a new computer game), but it appears to be true for
speech recognition groups which probably should be increasing
instead of dying. If that is in fact happening, one might figure
it is the global economic decline. An amusing coincidence IMO is
the fact that China is doing well economically, using its slave
labor, and China has increased its UseNet traffic, in the form of
spam.

That is a rude and excessive signature block. It is not spam.

spam unqualified is email spam now. usenet spam in its simplest
concept/definition is advertising something, whereas its righteous
definition is a little tedious.

Is there a Thunderbird add-on that filters signatures? :)

Do you use nym-shifting through Google Groups to spam UseNet like
so many others from Hong Kong? Does your Chinese government
support spamming UseNet?

More like rhetorical inconsistency, I said China is doing okay,
and obviously China is a large part of the world.
it is primarily the US which is suffering this decline.

Apparently you have never heard of Great Britain, Greece, etc.
You should have, since both have been in the one-way media news
recently. If you watch/listen to C-SPAN (at least here in the
United States, or maybe worldwide from their website), you can see
what is going on in Great Britain too, thanks to broadcasts of
some of their government proceedings.

Pay me first and I might consider it! Pay me well in *CASH*! :)

I have no gun. How could I know what my country is doing? And I believe
only guns could investigate other guns.
