OT -Google groups prblem?

Hi!

When I open a google group, such as MS XP General, I have no problem.
If I wish to START A NEW TOPIC or REPLY, I have to sign in..(becaue I
am already subscribed).

Here's the rub....It will not accept my password so I have to reset the
password. I then reset it to exactly what it was for the past two
years....then I'm OK !

I'm not a dummy, I enter the password as slowly and as carefully as I
can, and it refuses it, and I have to go in again, and agan, and again
every day to reset the password to the same old password I've used for
years, before I can do anything.

I tried using MS OE newsgroups but I keep getting an 'unknown error'
when I try to sign up and view postings

Anyone have a clue as to what I'm doing wrong? Or if I may make so
bold..a clue to what THEY are doing wrong?

Google Groups posting interface is awful. In fact, many newsgroup
regulars will not even answer people who are posting from Google
Groups. Use a newsreader to access Usenet. It is easy. Here is
information to help you:

There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use Outlook
