OT CS 1.6 LAN only Version

Hi all,
Counterstrike 1.6 for LAN (no steam logon/ no active connection)

Has anyone used this to any affect.
Have you managed to get it going ok.

Need help setting up a 12 player LAN version.

Spence, not aware you can do this - think 1.6 servers MUST connect to & via
Steam. CS1.5 is no prob - I do that for LAN parties for mates at work.

Hi JonMac,

There is a full working version of CS 1.6 that will work on a LAN without
the need to connect to Steam or activate the dial up.

I have now managed to get it working and its no different to Steam CS 1.6
accept that you can create a LAN game. No Logging in nothing.
