I passed using Firefox. Is this is an IE specific problem?

Hummm...I've been doing that for a looooooooong time without reading
anything like this.
Also, I've always changed the HTML editor to Notepad instead of Word.

Evidently. My Firefox passed, but if I turned it on in IE, IE failed.

I use a utility named clipmate with IE and I passed the test.

Just turning it off in IE makes IE pass. No external program is
needed. I was just addressing whether it was a browser problem or an
IE problem.

Firefox is immune from this. Another reason to ditch Internet Explorer.

It's been "addressed" in IE6 also - turn it off.

Correct. If you remedy it according to the instructions you lose the
ability to paste text on quite a lot of webpages. What a crappy
browser!

Having security *and* flexibility is not in Microsoft's lexicon!
