OT: Can't print banners in Bannermania, help.

I found my old Bannermania diskette that I thought long lost. I
installed it on my Win98SE and it's just wonderful (on screen at
least)! <g> I'd be happy to share this program.

Installed, it's a small 357 kb in total, awesome! The only trouble is
that I can't get my HP deskjet 5740 to print the banners. It does
everything else just beautifully. Does it mean, though, that I need a
dot matrix and banner paper, I'm wondering? Does anyone know a bit
about these old banner-making programs? A bit of guidance would be
great. And if anyone thinks it worthwhile, I'll post the app over at
alt.binaries.freeware. Let me know. :blush:D

I also loved this old DOS classic, but anyone wanting to
substitute (upgrade) to a similar product may be interested
in Googling around for either:

Text FX (early free version)

Text Art
or
Aldus Type Twister (Abandoned)
