Can anyone kindly point us in the right direction to find info about:
1. Hardware (Mac/IBM-PC/other) used by Hollywood and other TV and movie
studios.
2. Editing software (Adobe Premiere/Apple FinalCut/other) used by Hollywood
and other TV and movie studios.

The last time I looked into this, several years ago, each studio did
it's "own thing". Custom hardware as well as software. There is a big
difference between a TV station editing system and a studio system used
to generate/develop animation based movies.
