HeyBub
Austin, Texas middle school teacher finds student running a demo of Linux.
She confiscates the disk, has a conference with the student, and writes an
angry letter to Ken Stark (founder of HelioOS) in which she says, inter
alia:
"Mr. Starks, I am sure you strongly believe in what you are doing but I
cannot either support your efforts or allow them to happen in my classroom.
At this point, I am not sure what you are doing is legal. No software is
free and spreading that misconception is harmful."
She goes on to say:
"I will research this as time allows and I want to assure you, if you are
doing anything illegal, I will pursue charges as the law allows."
You go, girl!

Of course Stark replies with Linux mumbo-jumbo about how Linux is better
than it was two years ago and other drivel.
