OS is not configured to run POWERPOINT

I AM RECEIVING AN ERROR "The operating system is not
presently configured to run this application". I have
Windows XP. WHAT IS WRONG?

Windows XP is the operating system. That is separate from Microsoft Office
products of which PowerPoint is one. Do you have PowerPoint installed on
the computer?

Do you have Office 2002 Small Business Edition installed, and you are trying
to run PowerPoint ?
