Hey,

Microsoft have finally announced the Origami Project, as a UMPC (Ultra
Mobile PC) device. See more here:
http://msblog.resdev.net/?p=373

I know it's not really Vista news, but it's still cool )

I reckon Vista should be able to go on there ;o) However, we do believe it's
a special version of XP Tablet Edition that's going onto it - some of the UI
is different, expecially the inputting bits.

(From Haiku to) Origami = Intel UMPC + MS Tablet XP/Vista + MS Touch Pack
http://www.engadget.com/2006/03/09/so-what-is-origami-well-tell-ya/
Touch Pack consists of a launcher app that better groups and opens
apps based on a touchscreen interface; DialKeys, a thumb-based text input
system that uses those two onscreen touch inputs on either side; Touch
Improvements, a suite of environment optimizations to make using Windows
with your fingers a less painful experience; and some other stuff, like
Sudoku and an Origami-optimized Windows Media skin to kind of round out the
whole thing.
