organizing favorites in IE

How do I organize my favorites in IE? I would like them to show up in
alphabetical order, but I think they defaut to date order. Any
suggestions?

If I go to the organize option within IE I have the choice to Rename,
Delete, Create or Move, but there is no option for sort.

right-click on one favorite and select "sort by name"

Open your Favourites via the Menu Bar, right click on any entry and then select 'Sort by Name'.
