Hi, how would I join boxes of text in background text in org chart? Thanks.

Hi,

You may prefer creating your own org chart with autoshapes (text boxes) and
connectors rather than the org chart in 2000. Glen Miller has a nice
tutorial on connectors here:

Hi Glenna, thanks for that. I have already done that, but also just wanted
to know the basics of doing a bit of 'background' work on some org charts.
I have checked out your link to the connector tutorial and think it is really
great. I have been using connectors up to now, but had a bit of difficulty
from time to time, so this is a great help. Thanks! Jazz

You're using PPT 2000, right?
