Just called Canon USA parts 732-521-7230
Ordered 2 trays @$5.51 each QL2-0605-000
And 1 base @$1.77 each QM2-1239-000
Plus Tax and Ship/Handle of 6.95

No mention at all about "not available in the US" so should
be here in a week or so and then I'll go through the steps
at http://pixma.web1000.com/IP4200/index.htm to enable the
CD printing option in the printer, as well as download the
European driver to make it all work

Great price and less then ebay'ers are selling it for but it seems not
everyone is getting the tray from Canon. Sometimes people are told they
aren't available in the USA. I think people who are successful are getting
Canon employees who are not aware of the policies and just sell whatever
part people order.

In another message (sorry, didn't keep my original one for a reply)
I posted that the saleswoman called me back after about 3 hours to
report they were out of stock (discontinued item) on the tray, with
no replacement ## showing in her system, so I had to cancel the order

Of course, I have no way to know if the item was REALLY no longer
made, or if it is just not available in the US... but bottom line is
I went to eBay and bought one (Grin... I also sell on eBay sometimes,
so totally understand someone making a profit when the do, somehow,
get a stock of a hard to find item... I'd rather pay the low$ direct
to Canon, but since that is not an option, I'll get a tray for more)
