ok my Tyan tiger MP dual XP board finally died (my brothers died over a year
ago, we built identical twin athlon xp 1700's on the tyan tiger MP board)
mine finally kicked the bucket so I just ordered a new system from
cyberpowerpc.com it wasn't too bad came out to 565 (with shipping) for a MSI
939 board with athlon 64 3000, 1GB (2x 512) dual channel ram, Geforce 256
PCI express card, 80 GB SATA drive (seagate, also ya may think this is small
but my current drive is a 45 gig IBM deathstar, and it still has 5GB free)
got it with 3 case fans and a temp display on the front with a 450watt powr
supply. not bad for under 600. all I need to add in this are my DVD-RW and
DVD-rom drives and I'm all set. now one question. will my computer run
slower if I run and SATA drive and a standard IDE drive (say have windows
and all that stuff on my SATA and my files on the IDE?) will it not matter?
thanks

I can't answer your question, but I have one for you: has your computer
arrived yet? If so, how is it?
I have a Cyberpower computer and cant complain, except that it arrived with
a dead DVD drive. And I've seen complaints that are much worse about this
company. Go to http://www.resellerratings.com/seller6897.html to see what
I'm talking about.
I would love to buy another computer from them, but given the complaints,
I'm scared to.
But I'd love to hear what your experience is.
