Hello -

I'm having a problem with folders being in the wrong order when I click on
the "Browse" button from any application or website. Normally they are
always in alphabetical order. Today however everything is in reverse
alphabetical order.

I understand how to change this setting if I'm going to the folders manually
or through explorer. I've also used the browse and right-clicked and sorted
by name - this puts them back in the correct order, but only for that time.
Next time I browse they are back in reverse order.

Can anyone tell me where this setting is controlled? I've checked folder
options but don't see anything there. Seems like a small problem, but I
have browsed to these folders in the same order for over 5 years. Now that
they are backwards I feel like I can't find anything...old habits die hard I
guess :)

Thanks in advance for the help!

Open Explorer and set the folder sort the way you want it. Do this in the
root directory, like C:\. Go to Tools, Folder Options, View, and click on
Apply to All Folders. Your settings should then stay that way until you (or
someone else on the PC) change them.
