Order of columns in datasheet after adding new column

I converted my table to have 2 columns called Address1 and Address2.
Formerly, there was just Address. I renamed Address to Address1 and added
Address2 underneath it. However, my datasheet shows Address2 at the right
hand end after all the other columns. How do I get it to appear in the
correct sequence? I thought it should have done that automatically.

Just open, then click on the column label to highlight and drag the column to
the left.
