'Order' function menu greyed out on drawing toolbar

Hi, I use office both at work and home-just upgraded to an XP PC at home.

When I select a photo or other object on an MS WORD 2003 doc and want to
send it to back, I click on the draw function on the draw toolbar but the
whole order menu is greyed out. I know this has to be a setting that needs to
be changed somewhere -help!

Your question would be better off in a Word or Office forum, as this is not
a Windows XP problem, per se.

In any case, the ordering feature of the draw menu will not function on
pictures or other objects unless you first change their layout property to
something other than "in line with text". You have to make them float
independent of text lines.
