Oracle Provider - Connection not closed

Hi, I have found that the Oracle .Net Provider does not
release connections, even after calling close and
dispose. I found a newsgroup entry from MS Support that
they know about it and it is begin fixed. Does any one
know of this problem? When it will be fixed?

Hi Ruaan,

This could happen because of connection pooling.
By default ado.net keeps at least one conneciton open.
