OPtiplex 745 joining a domain

We are on a domain with a windows 2000 server and a mix of Dell and IBM
workstations all connected to the domain running either w2k or winxp sp2.

We got new Dell Optiplex 745's (five of them) and joined them to the domain.
Since joining them to the domain we cannot boot into regular windows, only
safe mode or SM with networking.

I tried enabling 'boot logging' but nothing comes up in the netbtlog file.

I tried updating or changing the network drivers, changing cables, changing
ports to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Event log clues?

No Event logs at all for the times that it tries to boot into regular mode.

If there is nothing in the 'netbtlog' file, then it hasn't even started
loading the ntoskrnl or the hal so how could there be event logs??

If you have Symantec Clien Security (Corporate version) 10 than boot to safe
mode with networking and apply fix available at
http://entkb.symantec.com/security/output/n2006103112061748.html
let me know if this works, if not apply all updates from dell available at
support.dell.com including bios update and firmware for your optical drive.
