Options in XP Setup

Hello,
I'm trying to install Windows XP on a RAID 0 array, but Setup is proving to
be a pain in the arse. I need to manually configure two settings:
1: The proper HAL assignment for my "crazy mobo". (which is ACPI, but Setup
just thinks that it is a "Standard PC")
2: The drivers for my RAID controller.
Both options can be done by pressing F5 or F6 when prompted to install RAID
drivers.
The thing is, I need to do BOTH and Setup isn't allowing me to. I can only
do one or the other and then Setup just truddles on.
I know that it is possible to configure HAL settings after you're done
installing Windows by going to Device Manager and changing drivers for
whatever is under 'Computer'.
So that might be an option: Install RAID drivers and let Setup screw up the
HAL, then fix it later.
Does this sound reasonable?
Is there any way I can configure BOTH options while in Setup?

Press F6 when prompted but don't have either one of the floppies in the
drive. Press S when prompted then put one of the floppies in the drive and
allow it to select the driver. When it goes back to the promt to ask if
there are more raid drivers to install, take the floppy out of the drive.
Press S and then put the other floppy in when prompted. XP will then
install both raid drivers.

I am facing the same problem. I set up my machine with an ASUS
motherboard and the Promise RAID in a Raid 0 format. Everything works
fine except that XP treats my machine as a Standard PC rather than a
ACPI. So I read up MS web site on how to force a HAL upgrade.

They say hit F5 when you are asked to hit F6 if you have a RAID
driver. If I hit F5 I can select ACPI to change the HAL but then the
installation tells me I have no hard drive as I never gave it the RAID
floppy. If I hit F6, I can enter the floppy but then I never get a
chance to select ACPI as the Computer Type to change the HAL.

This is nuts....
