Options changed when open new window

In a workbook containing a number of sheets all are set not to display zeros,
but if I open a new window to view different sheets of the same workbook side
by side the sheets in the new window are displaying zeros and I have to go
into options to change that back. Any suggestions as to why this is
happening and how to avoid it please? Thanks

If you have a look at Tools>Options>View "zero values" you will see it is
under the "Windows Options" section.

That's why it happens..............workaround, I don't know of any.

Hi,

Phrased a different way:

Some options apply to a sheet, some apply to the workbook, some apply to
Excel. This option applies to the active window.

This is the intended behavior - because Excel wants to allow you to display
your sheet in two windows two different ways.

As another example - with two windows on the same sheet open side by side
you can display the formulas in one window and their results in the other.
This may help in debugging formulas.
