Option to select drive not working

I'm running build 1.0.701 and trying to do a full system scan on a system
with a large number of drives. When I first start MSAS, I can deselect the
system drive, then select any other drive(s) to scan. After that scan
finishes, with MSAS still running, no matter what drive I then select to
scan, it will only scan the system drive. The only way I've been able to
scan different drives in different passes is to restart MSAS for each
different scan. Am I overlokking something or is this just a beta glitch?

Richard, Are you running as Administrator? If not give it a try and post
the results.

Hmmm.... I am not able to duplicate your finding. It would appear the I can select any drive I want, and in whatever order... it make no difference... what I requested is what runs.

Based on my experiences, what it seems MSAS does is scan under the user
folder only, that folder usually has to only be Administrator. So as Ira
suggested, ensure that your account or accounts or all Administrator. Each
Account has to scanned individually even if its Administrator. Hopefully
this will be resolved in BETA 2.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I am running as Administrator. I tried the
same type of option settings on a different computer (should have done that
before posting) and MSAS ran flawlessly. Pretty much confirms the problem is
with the computer, not MSAS, and I'll have to go have a chat with that
machine. Thanks for your help,

Richard
