Optical DVD drive names

I have a DVD player and a DVD writer.
In Explorer one of them says CD DRIVE (E:) but the other one is reading
MMC/SD (F:)
Why? How can I change it?
I have a Media Card Reader and one of the drives shows MMC/SD there also.

In the registry go to,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer and
make a new key. Name the new key DriveIcons. Under DriveIcons make another
new key and name it the Drive letter you want to change such as E. Under E
make another new key and name it DefaultLabel. Open DefaultLabel and name it
whatever you want.
