Manufacturer's and price aside, which card is the better performer between
an ATI All in Wonder X800 XT (AGP) or an XFX 7800 GS (AGP)? The XFX I'm
looking at is the one with the 440MHz core and 1.3GHz mem clocks. Or better
yet, if anyone here knows how I can get my grubby lunch hooks on a Gainward
7876-BLISS 7800GS Silent 512MB GS+ in the USA let me know! I'm not quite
ready to upgrade to PCI-E b/c when i do that I'm gonna go with the AM2 or
Core Duo setup as well, and to add I just bought this AGP system not even 1
yr ago just before AM2/Duo was announced. These cards I'm asking about will
be going in an AMD 4800+ X2 system with 2.0 gb of ram. Thanks for any info.

Overclockers.co.uk sells the Bliss 7800GS+. The only problem is the £258
pricetag, equal to $490 US. And if the card ever breaks, you'll have to RMA
it back to the UK.

Prices of "real" 7900GT cards have fallen steadily. It is only $280 on
Pricegrabber, which means it's actually cheaper to get a S939 Nforce4 SLI
motherboard and go PCIe right now. Replacing the motherboard is more work,
but it give you the option of adding another card for SLI in the future.
