That comment on webpage fitting window interests me since I run at 880 X
600 and often need to scroll horizontally. Does Opera take care of that?
If yes, a good URL to get it.

You can get that feature from the keyboard - ctrl-F11.

Also can be set in preferences so that all web pages fit the screen.
<http://www.opera.com/support/usingopera/operaini/> search for
"rendering mode"
<http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/operaStuff/renderingMode.html>
Unless things have improved, forcing the web page to automatically fit
the window is a bit buggy and sometimes renders pages strangely.
Ctrl-F11 seems to work better for me.

i hear all the time about these two browsers..and all i can say that
they are not secure or fast like new Netscape Browser 8.1

Netscape has integrated protection which is in now days very required..
also its fast and secure...I use it and lot of my friends who had
firefox or opera decided to change to Netscape..you wont regret it..
Trust me..you ll be very saticfacted..

Security is a moving target and what's very secure today could be very
insecure the next when a crippling bug/hole is found. Ultimately only you
can decide what browser is best for you.

My only advice is to find a well supported browser YOU like, learn and use
it's security features and keep it up to date. What's best for you may be
useless to me and vice versa.

FWIW I've tried pretty much all of them and I use Avant.

I use Opera as my default browser/RSS reader, and Dialog as my default
mail/news client. What didn't work for you?

Clicking "read mail" ALWAYS brought up Opera's mail client, even after
trying countless suggestions from the forum. The only time I could get
Thunderbird up was upon clicking "Compose" mail. IMHO, Opera's
mail/news sucks.
