opening workbooks automatically

Hi !

what is the best way to have the same workbook open on two differen
computers on a network? Is it possible

not with VBA would be my assumption. Also there could (should?) be some
security mechanism to prevent one computer opening files on a different
computer!
In addition Excel does not work well with a workbook which is opened
multiple times (though possible if you allow 'sharing').

Maybe you canexplain what you're trying to achieve with this procedure.
There may be better ways.

One idea to achieve this could be to put something in the startup
scipts of both computers which will open the Excel workbook
