Opening up a HP scanjet IIcx

Somehow the underside of the glass on my old HP scanjet IIcx is dusty/dirty.
How do I open the thing to get at the underside of the glass?

I don't have a IIcx, but this was told to me.
4 screws, two each front and back (back ones under little pop-out covers)
