Opening query closes database

When I attempt to open my query, the entire database
closes. I've already compacted and repaired the database
and deleted the old query and built a new one. Now the
new one is doing the same thing. I'm stumped - anyone
know what's wrong? Thanks!
 
Don't know the answer but experience similar problem.
Started occurring when using Access 97 with Term Svcs 2000
and has continued when runing on desktops with Windows
2000. Did not experience under Win98.
