opening presentation in slide show

how do i save a ppt so that it always opens in slide show? ie without the
worktop screen...
 
If your using PowerPoint 2003 or earlier you can just change the extension from ppt to pps by renaming the file or, using the save as option select PowerPoint show. In 2007 you have to use the file save as option
