Opening ppt files in Outlook

If I open a ppt attachment it opens in full screen mode and does not allow me
to <esc> to the viewer. The <esc> simply closes the application. If I detach
the file it works fine. Any ideas on the setting that needs to be changed?

If you using the viewer, that is the default. You can open the Viewer first
and then navigate to your presentation.
