Opening picture in a new window

I want to be able to open a picture in a new
window/browser (from a hyperlink ed thumbnail) that is
the exact size and shape as the picture rather than a
large browser window with the picture at the top left of
the screen.

Anyone any idea?

he has lessons in HTML and there is one for creating a popup window that can be resized... it appears that it is what you are looking for.. you just paste the HTML code into your site.
