What program do you have installed that you are trying to open them with?
Adobe Reader? One of the other pdf reader programs?

Assuming that you do have some pdf reader program installed, what does "i
CAN NEVER OPEN" mean? What happens when you try? If you get an error
message, please quote it verbatim.

To be able to open/view PDF files you need a software like Adobe's Reader
..The latest version for Windows XP is 7.05.01 ,I think.
The software is free:

!!! And a tip >>> writing in only CAPITAL letters is considered as shouting

Reader .The latest version for Windows XP is 7.05.01 ,I think.

7.0.7 is the latest version.
