opening Outlook 2007

I downloaded outlook.pst into new outlook 2007.halfway download seased and
now i cannot open outlook anymore.even used scanpst.exe but still cannot open.
message tells Outlook found problems in C:\Users......\outlook\outlook.pst.

what can i do as i don not weant to format my C-disk.
I uninstalled and re-installed but not succes
 
What do you mean with "downloading your pst in Outlook 2007"? You mean
importing? There is no need to do such a thing as Outlook can directly open
pst-files via File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

Run scanpst.exe again until it doesn't find any error anymore and then try
again. Reinstalling won't help with configuration issues. If all things
fail, connect your original pst-file to your mail profile via Control
Panel-> Mail-> Data File Management and set it as the default. Now try to
start Outlook again.
 
What do you mean 'downloaded outlook.pst into......'

Use the mail applet in the control panel to create a new data file, set it
as default, and remove the old data file.
PS Uninstalling/Reinstalling outlook rarely cures anything

What's "downloaded"? If you mean "imported", then start over and simply add
the original PST to your mail profile, making it the delivery location.
Remove the PST you created and were trying to populate/
