Opening links in OE

I have abandoned IE and prefer to use Firebird instead, and have designated
it as my default browser. However I am still using Outlook Express, but when
I click on a link in the newsreader the link opens in Internet Explorer.
Does anyone know how I can change this so the link will open with Firebird?

Not sure whether you can designate another browser in which to open an OE
link. IE and OE are functionally a unit. It may not be possible to
reconfigure this relationship from within those programs. It might require
"third-party help."
