I'm running XP home and XP office and am having great
trouble opening an Excel file which is currently 114Mb's
in size!! Problem is it will be getting bigger all the
time and I would prefer to keep it together rather than
break it up into smaller pieces. The CPU is a 2.4 XP with
756 Mb of ram and the HDD consists of 2x 40gb's in a raid0
setup. The spreadsheet consists of 7 linked worksheets
recording accounts info. I have tried increasing the
paging file without any difference being found. At the
moment I have to close everything down and it sometimes
just about loads after a couple of error messages
concerning not enough resources!
