opening jpegs

currently, when I "open" a jpeg, Powerpoint trys to open the picture! How do I change the opening program to be something like microsoft picture it?
 
Open Control Panel>Folder Options and go to the File Types tab. Scroll down
the list to the entries for JPEG Image. Here you can change the program
associated with the JPG file type by clicking the "change" button and
choosing the program from the list.
