opening items from outlook express

My computer just started this. Crazy computer. When I
try to open something that is highlighted in an outlook
express email instead of opening it it sends it to the
toolbar at the bottom of the page. I then have to maximize
it in order to see it. How do I make it just open the link
up ? Help!!!!

Thoughts:
o Is the window really opening minimized or is it opening in the
background? If you minimize OE and find the browser window, then OE is
retaining the focus while the browser window is busy finding the site and
loading the page.

o If the window is truly opening minimized, resize it with your mouse
before closing it with the X in the upper right hand corner.
