opening folders

whenever I click on a folder to open it, the folder will open in search mode.
how do I find the setting to change it back to just open?
 
This is a real common problem.

Try this first.

Click Start | Click Run | Type or paste the following line:

regsvr32 /i shell32

Click OK.
