Opening files

Is it possible for me to open an e-mail attachment of an
excell spreadsheet whe I have xp home edition as I cannot
find a file to open it with

Do you have Office 2002 or Excel 2002

You can open the file for just viewing or printing with the Excel Viewer that
is downloadable from:

http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/xlviewer.aspx

It's a fair size download (3.8 MB)

Or you can get OpenOffice that will allow you to work on the file:
