Opening .EML files

Hello,

Is there a way to open a EML file with Outlook 2007. Or is there a an Add-in
available or software for opening a EML file in Outlook 2007 ... not
importing, but opening.

EML messages are Outlook Express messages. Open them with OE.
 
Both Outlook Express and Windows Mail are the default programs associated
with .EML files. In as much as an .EML file is nothing more than a text
file, you can open them in any text editor. As to an add-in, none that I'm
aware of.

EML is a RFC 822 standard. You can open it with Outlook Express, but is this
really a specific standard for Outlook Express?
 
Yup, a MIME header followed by tons of gibberish. OTOH, the file can easily
be run through WinZip or one of many decoders to recover the binary
attachments.
