Opening custom PST file in XP tablet edition

I cannot open a PST file that was created on a Windows XP pro pc on a Tablet
edition of windows.

The PST has 5 folders, all quite standard, no password, and compressible
encryption.

Error:
An attempt to open this file causes outlook to fail

Are there any differences between Tablet and XP PRO versions that will cause
this?

Nope, what version of Outlook are you using on either system? How did you
transfer it?

Try creating an empty PST file and importing the data into it.
