Opening another database with automation

I am trying to open another Access database/application via a click
button/module on a form. The database opens then executes the set appAccess =
Nothing line of the code and closes.

I am able to open other databases via the module but this particiular
database is acting this way.

Any clues? (I copied the command button and module from the one that works
to create the new one so they are clones).
