I had a friend E-mail me the other day. With an
attatchment. It wouldn't let me open it. So I did the
updates. I have the spredsheet but it looks nothing like
it is supposed to. He gave me instructions to open it,
but I do not see anything stating Exce. His exact info
was Start Excel Tools Macros Security. Please help I am
at my wits end. Not to mention computer illiterate.

Do you have EXCEL or some other spreadsheet?

If you look for EXCEL plug-ins and converters you will be
able to open all the EXCEL files if you have EXCEL (part of
MS OFFICE)

If you don't, you can get a free Excel viewer from MS Office
downloads.

| A possibillity is that the sender has a more recent
version of Excel than
| you. He/she will have to re-save it in your version and
send again.
| Unfortuaately, earlier program versions won't open
documents made by later
| versions.
